The soldered VNA board ready to built into the case. Note the small size compared to the pen at the top of the picture. It contains all VNA functionality. SMA connectors are used together with almost rigid PTFE coax cable. The cable is compatible with RG-402 semi-rigid, but more flexible to minimum 11mm turning radius. SMA connectors for RG-402 type cable are very cheap (less than 2€) and can be directly soldered without any crimping tool.
