Kris Deraedt is the owner of BMC ( Brugge Marine Center) and founded Flanders Offshore Racing in 2006 as the racing devision of his well-known boating company BMC. Kris should be the contact point for all commercial issues concerning Flanders Offshore Racing being the racing devision of BMC.

His first introduction to international Offshore Racing was in 1996 in France when he won the French  Champional with an Osprey Eagle 6 m 'Nightraider'. In 2003 he won the Aquaraid with an Osprey Seaharriermax Inboard in Italy. In 2005 he was 'vice-Champion du France' with an Osprey Vipermax 7. In 2006 a new start was taken in the Powerboat P1 championship. Kris several times participated the 24 hour White Night Endurance race in Sint-Petersburg, Russia with respected results.
